Every woman and girl deserves to live in safety and dignity. Yet domestic violence continues to bring fear, harm, and isolation to homes and communities around the world. Silence, stigma, and limited access to support can leave those experiencing abuse feeling alone and unsure where to turn.
Through our ongoing Stand Against Domestic Violence initiative, BWA Women is working to equip churches and communities to recognize abuse, respond with compassion, and support those affected. This work emphasizes education, awareness, advocacy, and care, calling our global network to put faith into action by standing alongside women and girls experiencing violence.
In partnership with newly appointed BWA Ambassador for Standing Against Gender-Based Violence Valérie Duval-Poujol, we will continue strengthening this response across nations and cultures. Our efforts include expanding access to resources, encouraging local engagement, and helping ministry leaders understand their role in preventing violence and supporting survivors.
Together, we seek to build communities where those experiencing abuse are heard, their safety is prioritized, and they can find support as they take steps toward healing.
