Offering Pathways to Hope

Recovery after a hurricane involves more than rebuilding homes. For many Jamaican women affected by Hurricane Melissa, the emotional toll continues through anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress. Stigma, limited awareness, and a lack of accessible services can leave these struggles unrecognized and women without the support they need.

Pathways to Hope provides accessible mental health and psychosocial support to help women process their experiences, strengthen resilience, and regain emotional well-being. Through safe spaces for sharing and compassionate support, women will find opportunities to connect with others and take steps toward healing.

The project will also raise mental health awareness and equip local communities to provide ongoing support. By strengthening understanding and encouraging women to seek help, this initiative will support recovery that extends beyond individuals to their families and communities.

Help Us Make an Eternal Impact

Your generous gifts through the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer Offering help women affected by Hurricane Melissa access compassionate care as they recover and rebuild. Together, we can share Christ’s love, nurture hope, and remind women they do not have to walk the journey toward healing alone.
