Offering (2022)
A Global Prayer Movement

(or Celebrate on Another Day of Your Choosing)
For more than 70 years, sisters in Christ have united in prayer for the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer hosted by Baptist World Alliance Women. What a legacy to honor and a history to join as we gather once again to pray this year in homes, churches, and communities around the world!
The 2022 theme is “Victorious Life” drawn from the truth of 2 Corinthians 2:14 – “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in the triumph of Christ, and through us reveals the fragrance of the knowledge of him in every place.” As you pray this year, imagine the fragrance of our collective prayers being lifted in more than 100 nations! We are confident you will be blessed and encouraged as we gather for the reading of God’s Word, hear stories of victory, and seek the Lord in prayer.
To help us best support you and stand together in prayer with you, we would love to have a record of your planned participation. Would you please complete a brief participation form by clicking the button below?
Your Gifts at Work Around the World
Day of Prayer gives Baptist women an opportunity to give generously in support of the global initiatives of Baptist World Alliance Women and across our seven Continental Unions. These financial gifts continue to make an eternal difference, providing practical help for women in need and equipping Baptist women to impact their world for Christ. Thank you for being a vital part of this event which propels meaningful ministry throughout the entire year! Click the image to learn more about projects supported by your donations this year.
Your Day of Prayer Guide
bl /This year we have created a 16-page guide filled with information to help you plan and participate in Day of Prayer, including specific prayer requests and “Celebrations of Victory” from each Continental Union as well as details about this year’s global ministry projects. The guide also includes a Bible study from BWA Women President Karen Wilson. Due to increased cost of paper, printing, and mailing, we have a limited inventory of printed guides, so we encourage you to utilize the digital resources when possible. To request printed copies within the continental United States, please email bwawomen@baptistworld.org. To access a printer file for printing in your community or to access a PDF of the digital copy, please click here or you can view or download via the embedded reader below.
