WHEN MONEY HURTS

The Link Between Domestic Abuse and Poverty

A Special Session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women

Tuesday, March 12, 10:30 am Eastern Standard Time* (Time Zone Converter)

Hosted by the  Christian Network to End Domestic Abuse (CNEDA)

* If you are unable to join live at the time of the webinar, a recording will be distributed to watch as your time permits.

Financial abuse is another weapon in the hands of abusers, one that often leaves women and children feeling powerless to escape domestic abuse. The often-unexplored link between domestic abuse and poverty must be addressed to create a world in which all women and children are safe. In response to this need, Christians across the globe are working to break the cycle through financial freedom initiatives. Join us as we learn from project leaders around the world who are providing a path for women to experience economic stability and freedom from abuse.

The webinar will be hosted by Bekah Legg, CEO, of Restored alongside CNEDA member Valeríe Duval-Poujol and will highlist a series of powerful testimonies, information about CNEDA, and a panel to discuss ways the global Church is responding to abuse.
