In the mountain region of Santiago de Cuba, many children have not yet heard the Gospel or had the opportunity to receive consistent Christian teaching. This area faces multiple challenges, including a lack of trained teachers and leaders, limited access to children’s ministry materials, and the need for greater support in outreach to young people.
The Pasa a Macedonia (Go to Macedonia) project seeks to respond to these needs by equipping local churches to reach and disciple children through intentional evangelism, leadership development, and the strengthening of children’s ministries – beginning in Santiago de Cuba and expanding to other areas such as Bahía de Mata.
Objectives
- Share the Gospel with children in mountain region of Santiago de Cuba.
- Equip and train teachers and leaders for effective children’s ministry.
- Provide Christian educational and discipleship materials for children.
- Strengthen and support the children’s ministry of the church in Bahía de Mata and surrounding communities.
Implementation Plan
- Community Research: Conduct intentional assessments in five churches in the Guamá municipality (Santiago de Cuba) to understand the current state of children’s ministry and specific local needs.
- Teacher Training: Prepare and equip teachers to organize and lead Vacation Bible Schools (VBS) for evangelism and Bible teaching.
- Vacation Bible Schools: Carry out simultaneous VBS programs in multiple churches to engage children with the Gospel message.

Help Us Make an Eternal Impact
Through this project, hundreds of children will hear the Gospel and begin a journey of faith. Teachers and leaders will be empowered with practical tools and biblical training to continue ministering effectively to children. Local churches will grow stronger in their mission to share Christ’s love and raise a new generation of disciples.
