Nurturing Little Disciples (Pequeños discipulos)

The Pequeños Discípulos project seeks to share the Word of the Lord with children and their families living in one of the most vulnerable communities in Chile. Through this ministry, we not only teach the Bible but also demonstrate God’s love in practical ways – providing daily food, school supplies, shoes, and other basic necessities to meet the needs of each child.

With the support of brothers and sisters in faith, we have established a small ministry space (“salita”) in the El Pilón settlement. This has become a place of hope where children and families gather to learn, pray, and grow in faith.

Project Impact

Currently, Pequeños Discípulos serves women and children through a Bible School:

  • Children (ages 4–8) – receiving spiritual teaching, nourishment, and school support.
  • Adolescents (ages 12–16) – engaging in discipleship and mentorship activities.
  • Women (ages 19 and older) – participating in Bible studies and faith-based community support.

Through this outreach, many families have been deeply blessed. Several women have drawn closer to God and families are finding strength to overcome challenges like depression and addiction. The project is nurturing spiritual transformation, helping participants discover a new way of life centered on faith and community.

Vision for the Future

Our prayer is that through Pequeños Discípulos, more children and families will come to know the Lord, experience His love, and be empowered to build lives rooted in faith, free from addiction, and filled with purpose. Thank you for helping make this life-changing work possible through your support of the Baptist Women’s World Day of Prayer offering!
