When a decree was issued to destroy the Jews, Esther faced a frightening choice: remain silent and safe or speak out and risk her life. Mordecai’s challenge to Esther in Esther 4:14 was a call to courage:
“For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”
Esther chose to act bravely, even though it meant risking her life. Her faith and courage led her to approach the king, eventually saving her people from destruction.

It can be easy to become impatient or anxious when things do not unfold as quickly as we would like, but God’s timing is always perfect. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens.” So, reflect on areas where you may need to trust God’s timing and remain patient as He works out His plan in your life.

Reflect on Your Position: Consider where God has placed you and how you can use your position to make a difference. Pray for clarity and courage to fulfill your purpose in those areas.
Seek Courage: Identify any areas in your life where you need to act with boldness. Pray for God’s strength to take the necessary steps, even when they are difficult.
Trust in God’s Plan: When facing uncertainty, remind yourself of God’s faithfulness and timing. Trust that He is working all things together for His purpose and your good.
The story of Esther challenges us to recognize and embrace our divine purpose with courage and trust. Just as Esther was positioned “for such a time as this,” each of us has a unique role in God’s plan. May we follow her example, living boldly and faithfully, knowing that our lives are part of His greater story.
