When displaced women arrived from Mosul in the wake of ISIS terror, the National Evangelical Baptist Church in Baghdad offered them much-needed care and compassion. Many trusted Christ as their Savior and are now leaders within the church, eager to reach other women in need.
“The ministry of women is one of the most important services in the church since its founding in 2004. We have a vision for this ministry to help women realize their identity in Christ and understand their role in the family and community.”

In 2023, the church will offer a series of outreach events for women. Goals include:
- Women growing in their biblical knowledge and commitment to obeying Christ
- Women realizing their essential role in the family of God
- Women developing an understanding of their calling and a commitment to service
- Women eliminating burdens of the past and healing internally
The four events will take place throughout 2023 and will include worship, teaching, workshops, and a lunch fellowship.
